Corrosion is one of the greatest threats to the long-term integrity and profitability of assets. In fact, nearly 4% of the total global GDP is lost through corrosion. Ships, offshore installations, offshore wind turbines, port facilities, lock gates, jetties and other maritime structures require effective corrosion protection. This aspect should therefore be a priority in the design, construction, production and operation of these assets.
