Oil-cooled protective current device

The product quality of the oil-cooled protective current devices guarantees safe operation, a long service life and extremely low maintenance requirements. They are specially designed for use in warmer climates. The components of the protective current devices are integrated in a sheet steel housing. The housing is divided into an oil tank and a control cabinet. The oil tank is a volume-elastic steel corrugated tank with a calculated cooling surface. A bolted boiler cover hermetically seals the tank from the control cabinet.

The oil tank is equipped with the following standard components:
– Insulating oil filler and drain nozzle
– Thermometer with integrated oil level indicator
– Silica gel dehumidifier
– Earthing connection
– Transport lugs and type plate

The transformers, thyristors, rectifiers and all other components subject to heat loss are attached to a steel frame welded to the boiler cover and immersed in insulating oil.
The control cabinet, flange-mounted on the tank cover, has a front and rear door. The doors can be locked and are fitted with door locks. The front section of the switch cabinet is used for mounting all operating elements and measuring devices. A weather-resistant
Viewing window in the front door allows the measuring instruments to be read without opening the door. Pole terminals are located below the measuring devices. The pole terminals are used for independent measurement of current and voltage values when using a portable measuring device.
Cable entries into the switch cabinet are made via hot-dip galvanized protective conduits at the rear.
The rear part of the switch cabinet is used for mounting all cable connections, circuit breakers, etc. The control cabinet is dimensioned so that the components are clearly arranged and sufficient working space is retained. The easy interchangeability of all
The protective current device is supplied as standard with a base frame for mounting on a concrete base. A sunshield for mounting above the control cabinet is part of the standard equipment.
The protective current devices comply with the technical requirements of (DIN/VDE) and (IEC), other international standards are complied with if required.

The following control and regulation functions can be selected via touchscreen operation:

- Constant voltage mode
Automatic control of the DC output voltage to the set value
Value. Setting of up to max. DC output voltage programmable.

- Constant current mode
Automatic regulation of the DC output current to the set value
Value. Setting from 0 to max. DC output current programmable.

- Potential control mode
Automatic regulation of the protection potential to the set value.

- Protective circuit breaker mode

- Remote monitoring system (RMCS)
